Competition Team

Class

Open Tryouts are used to qualify and place gymnasts in the training program which best fits their skill level and time commitment.

Beginner

This class provides an introduction to Rhythmic Gymnastics. Girls will learn basic body movements, stretching techniques, and basic apparatus handling using balls, ribbons, hoops, ropes and scarves.

As they progress, the girls will learn to combine these elements into creative movement and dance.

Beginner classes are designed to develop coordination, flexibility and balance in a playful setting. Our group of Beginner girls will participate in the Annual Competition to demonstrate the skills they have learned, and receive grading to determine whether they advance to the next category.

Competition Team

Our competitive program is open to girls ages 6 and up, and gymnasts who show promise will be selected to join the Competition Team per the discretion of our head coach.

The program is structured for athletes looking to progress and excel in the sport through a competitive environment; which includes more strenuous workouts and rigorous instruction in Rhythmic Gymnastics, along with a minimum required number of training hours per week at each level & participation in our Summer Training Program.
